MONROE, LA. —The Christian Science Society in building a temporary church home, with reading-room and reception-room, besides the auditorium, to be completed in November. The total cost will be about thirty-two hundred dollars.

LEXINGTON, KY.—First Church of Christ, Scientist, maintained a booth during the fair, Aug. 11 to 17, where many Christian Science Monitors, Sentinels, Journals, and pamphlets were given to the public. Quite a number expressed their thanks for having such a delightful place in which to rest.—Correspondence.
