I give this testimony with the hope it will bring courage to many who are past all earthly help, as I was twenty years ago when I began the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and was healed by putting its teachings into practise as well as I could understand them. Quite recently I was able to lay aside crutches that I had used a year and a half on account of a paralytic affection. Besides this, heart trouble, asthma, neuralgia, and many other ailments disappeared, and I was soon able to help others, although deafness which came on when I was sixteen years old has not yet been overcome. I am over sixty-five years old, am a member of The Mother Church, and have had the privilege of class instruction. I am very thankful to God for sending so grand and noble a teacher as Mrs. Eddy has proven herself to be, and for the many blessings received through Christian Science.
