About two years ago we became acquainted with the teachings of Christian Science at a time when I was in a pitiful condition, an eruption of the skin extending almost over my whole body and causing me much suffering. I had consulted several physicians, but the remedies which they prescribed brought very little relief. I then turned to Christine Science and asked a practitioner for treatment, which she at once gave me; besides this, I attended the services. In three months' time the eruption had disappeard.

Soon after, our fourteen-year-old daughter was taken ill with acute lung trouble, and in our excitement we consulted a physician, whose verdict left us but little hope. Knowing that in this case our heavenly Father alone could help, we did not get the medicine which the physician had prescribed, but called in the Christian Science practitioner, the result being that the fever soon abated, which caused the physician to be greatly astonished. Four weeks later our daughter had recovered her health completely, and she is today a very strong girl. We have also experienced deliverance from error through Christian Science in several minor instances. Our sixteen-year-old son, who was very delicate and suffered with a rheumatic affection of the joints, has been completely freed of these troubles, and our seven-year-old boy was freed from an obstinate throat trouble. For all the good which we have experienced through Christian Science we wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to God.
