With gratitude I testify to the many blessings which Christian Science has brought to me and my family. I especially wish to mention the healing of my little grandson. When only a few months old, a severe bowel trouble set in, and at six months he was so weak he could scarcely hold up his head, while those who saw him thought he could live but a short time. As I had been greatly benefited in Christian Science, my son and his wife turned to it for their little one. There are no Christian Science practitioners here, so his mother took him to the nearest city, a distance of forty-five miles. Some people, not knowing why she went, thought her very foolish to undertake the journey with the child, but she went with the hope that he would be helped.

After a week or ten days' treatment, she brought him home, greatly benefited, and he soon began to grow and to look like another child. Now he is over four years old and a picture of health and strength, often taken to be older than he is because so well grown. He is fond of saying that he is a Christian Science boy.

We are all very thankful for this saving truth,—thankful to God for Mrs. Eddy, also for the benefit rendered us in time of need.—Mrs. C. R. Bray, Elizabeth City, N. C.
