I wish to express my gratitude for what God has done for me through Christian Science. In December, 1909, I was confined to my bed with a skin disease in its worst form. My body was covered with it, and the discharge was very bad indeed. I had almost lost the use of my left hand, and my head and neck were drawn to one side, which was very painful, as they remained in that position for some time. It took two persons to move me about, and it had to be done very carefully.

On Dec. 25 it seemed that I would pass on, as the disease apparently had resulted in blood-poisoning; but the power of Truth was proven in this crisis, and on Jan. 9 I attended church, as they were to take in new members on that day, among them my husband. At that time the ground was covered with a heavy snow and sleet, and had been for several days. I mention this to show how quickly God does His work when we trust Him. In the old thought I am sure I would not have gone to church under the same conditions; but my healing was complete, and today there is not a trace of the disease left.
