In January, 1909, I was taken with severe pain in the back. We tried several remedies which proved of no avail, and then consulted a physician. He prescribed treatment, but this did me no good either; so another physician was consulted. I tried everything prescribed, also baths, with the hope of improving; but in vain, and the pain was unbearable. I then heard of Christian Science, asked a practitioner to explain the subject to me, and at once began to take treatment. I looked forward to my healing with firm trust in God, and experienced a wonderful change after the first treatment. It would be difficult for me to describe it, but I felt as I never had before. The pain practically disappeared, except for a little twinge occasionally; but this also soon vanished. I remained under treatment for some time, but soon could consider myself healed, and am now perfectly well.

I give this testimony with a thankful heart, and am especially grateful, next to God, to our beloved Leader, for the healing truth of Christian Science, whereby we are blessed.
