Two years ago I was healed of jaundice and a disease of the bladder—so the different physicians called it. For over two years I had been under the care of doctors; seven in my own city and three in other cities tried to cure me, but they gave me no hope. One said an operation would be necessary, others that I could never be cured. When, finally, I was confined to my bed, suffering intensely, my family and doctor gave me up to die.

A friend came at this time to ask us to try Christian Science. My husband went to see a practitioner and asked her if she could heal me. She answered, " 'All things are possible with God; I will go and see her." She came, and with her such words of comfort and cheer that hope sprang up within me. After another day and night of great suffering, I fell asleep about one o'clock the next night and slept for five hours in sweet peace; all pain had left! I then had treatment for three weeks, but at the end of the first week I was about the house, and in two weeks I was doing my work.

I am trul happy, and most grateful for this blessed truth. It has not only healed me of sickness, but I am striving to put out all sin,—to love my neighbor as myself. I sing praises to God when about my work. I am glad to testify to His goodness, and may it help many others to receive comfort through Christian Science, for which our dear Leader has so patiently labored, that mankind may be freed from human bondage.
