It is with a heart full of gratitude that I give the following testimony. Four years ago I was very ill with what was diagnosed as appendicitis and nervous exhaustion. The attending physician told my family that an operation was absolutely necessary. I could not, however, make up my mind to submit to it, and was at that time advised by a friend to try Christian Science. I did so, and in four weeks I was entirely healed. I was also healed of hernia for which I had worn a truss for eighteen years. After the third treatment I was enabled to lay aside the truss, and have never felt the need of it since. I feel that I can best express my gratitude to God, and to our Leader, as I understand and live the teachings of Christian Science.
