Three years ago I fell from the porch, striking on my back and injuring my head severely upon the stone pavement. Two young men ran and helped me to my feet, and I went up the stairs unassisted. The family wanted to get a Scientist to treat me, but I told them they need not, that God was with us, and that He would help me. We took Science and Health and began to read, continuing to work until late in the night. I walked out the following Sunday to the Science services and never missed a meeting. It was for some time hard for me to comb my hair, because of the injury to my head, but since then I have had no trouble; but without Christian Science, I do not like to think what might have happened.
A year ago I had severe pain in my legs, until it was hard for me to walk. Still I always went to the church at every meeting, and the ailment was finally conquered in Christian Science. Colds, coughs, etc., have all been overcome by this glorious truth, as made plain to us by Mrs. Eddy. Why, indeed, should we not love and revere her, for all she has done for suffering humanity? We should be very ungrateful if we did not.
Mrs. C. H. Golding, Los Angeles, Cal.
