Five years ago I was healed in Christian Science of a chronic illness, and since then have had many blessings, besides the spiritual uplifting. I was healed of a female trouble, when the doctors could do no more for me except to operate. To stop the pain they gave me an opiate, but I turned to Christian Science and was healed. I was also healed of hemorrhage of the head, suffering during childbirth, headaches, and fear of death. Besides all this, a growth on the eye was removed by Christian Science treatment.

For all these healings I am very thankful, but the spiritual uplifting is more to me than the physical help. Christian Science has shown me my true self, and my relation to God. In the raising of my two children this truth is my only help. It has indeed been ever present in time of trouble. In every experience the ailments have been overcome; Truth has never failed me. I am also thankful to be able to help others besides myself.

I am truly thankful to God, who uplifted me, and to Mrs. Eddy, who has pointed out the way.
