I wish to offer my tribute to the ever flowing stream of divine Love. In 1907 I received benefit from Christian Science, though this was not the first that I had known of it, but I now think very differently of this teaching than twenty years ago. Two dear friends gave me some literature to read and in one package was a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I thank God that this book was placed in my hand, for I began to read it with interest and soon found that the severe headaches with which I had been troubled had disappeared into their native nothingness. I then received treatment for other ailments, which also quickly disappeared. I was then treated for a severe cough, which was soon overcome. I had suffered from catarrh for over forty-five years, and this cough troubled me a great deal, but it quickly passed away, and to my great joy I received the hearing of my right ear, through which I had not heard for all these years. I had been told by doctors that I would never hear, as the inner ear was affected, but I find that man's extremity is God's opportunity.
I have indeed much to be thankful for to God, and for what our dear Leader has done for all who believe. I am also thankful for the spiritual enlightenment which opens up the Bible and helps one to understand Christian Science.
