I wish to express my gratitude to God, and also to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the benefits I have received in the study of Christian Science. I have been able to overcome most of the ills that have made their appearance in our home, also helped some neighbors; but the case of which I now wish to speak is the quick healing of a severe burn on my hand.

The first thought that came to me was our Leader's words, "Your remedy is at hand. Mind decides whether or not the flesh shall be discolored, painful, swollen, and inflamed" (Science and Health, p. 385). I kept my hand well out of sight, and worked in Science to the best of my understanding. In less than a half hour the pain had ceased. My hand did not get sore at all, and in less than a week the redness was all gone. This healing has seemed so wonderful to me that I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science.—Mrs. E. A.
