I became interested in Christian Science thirteen years...
I became interested in Christian Science thirteen years ago, and accepted it eleven years ago. I was healed of many ills. While studying music in Milwaukee, Wis., I began to have brain trouble and could not advance in my studies; so I had to give them up and come home to Minnesota. I sought medical aid, but was soon losing all use of my faculties. I could not play the piano, and was also losing my voice. I was told that my spine and brain were a wreck, and I lingered on in this condition for two years. I then went to Minneapolis to see a specialist, but was sent to a Christian Science practitioner whose office was next door. I began to take treatment, and after spending six dollars I was able to work effectively for myself. I kept on studying, and took treatment occasionally, until I was restored. I am able to sing and can play the piano better than ever; in fact, everything has been supplied through the understanding of God gained from the Bible and Science and Health, that wonderful book which our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, gave to the world.
I am thankful indeed to know of God's allness. I soon became a student of Christian Science, for I wished to know more of this spiritual healing work. All kinds of error have been overcome, such as felons, cough, catarrh, etc. I am truly grateful for my healing, and for knowing that God, Truth and Love, governs man.
Mrs. Evelina D. Ruf, Dawson, Minn.
