Four years ago, whooping-cough was prevalent in our neighborhood, and our little daughter played as usual with her companions who were suffering from it. The parents of these children declared that our child would take it too, and finally she did manifest the symptoms. I took her at once to a Christian Science practitioner, and in less than twenty-four hours every sign of the disease was destroyed, while the children about us, who were under medical treatment, continued to cough for the nine weeks outlined for them by materia medica.
