Some six years ago I had occasion to test the efficacy of Christian Science Mind-healing in a case of eruption. My mother had been subject to frequent and alarming attacks of this disease for many years, so that there was the material belief of heredity to be overcome in my case. The appearance on my head and face was so distressing that I kept my room for a couple of days, but at the end of a week I was completely healed and have never experienced any return of the trouble. I have witnessed in my own family the healing of disease of the lungs in an advanced stage, a severe case of blood-poisoning, and acute lung trouble, as well as many minor ailments.

My gratitude to God for the priceless revelation of Truth to this age, and to Mrs. Eddy, through whose consecration and fidelity to Truth this light has been revealed to me and mine, is unbounded.
