It is two years since I came to Christian Science through a dear friend. I applied for treatment in Dresden, and I cannot describe the sense of well-being which I experienced after the first treatment from the kind practitioner. After a short time I was freed of a disease of years' standing, although previously I had given up all hope of getting better. One trouble after another soon vanished, and I now feel indescribably happy. I have not only improved physically, but mentally as well. My mother has also been healed of a severe case of gall-stones, thanks to Christian Science. Having lost my dear father shortly before, there seemed to be sufficient cause for me to be troubled about my mother's mental state. This trouble, however, was also overcome with God's help, and now she is in as excellent health as formerly, and a diligent, happy adherent of Christian Science. I thank God from the depths of my heart, and also our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy. The Herold, too, has become a dear friend, and is a great source of help to me.—Frau Marie Sperlich, Zittau, i.
