It is with deep gratitude that I testify to the blessings which I have received through Christian Science. For fifteen years I had a very serious affection of the nose and throat, which also affected my head and made me feel very sick and disagreeable. I had several operations, in Germany and Norway, and the last time, two and a half years ago, by a very clever specialist of New York city, The treatment was very severe, but I submitted to it in the hope that it might cure me; but nothing even helped, and in the end they always said that I would have to use medicine all my life and two or three times daily.

But what no doctor could do, God has done! Before I left Madison, N. J., I started to take treatment in Christian Science for this affliction. I knew that I could be healed by the truth. I felt better a couple of days afterward, and now I am perfectly healed. My nose and throat are in the best of condition. I can breathe and talk without feeling any pain, and I can eat anything without any trouble from my throat.

I have never felt so healthy and happy as I have done since I started in with Christian Science. The spiritual uplifting one gets through Christian Science is wonderful. It is everything to me now, and I am deeply grateful to God, who has led me toward this understanding of Truth and Love. I am also thankful to Mrs. Eddy, who through her book Science and Health has made it possible for human beings to live aright.
