I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, spiritually and physically. It is more than three years since I became acquainted with a lady who kindly talked and read to me of Christian Science, which I had never understood in its true meaning, and I became very much interested. I gave up medical treatment, purchased a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and with the help of my new friend I commenced to improve.

I learned to hunger and thirst for Truth, for a perusal of the contents of that divinely inspired book which seems like a mine of wealth to me, and many are the blessings which divine Love has bestowed upon me. My health had failed; I suffered from rheumatism, and a difficulty pronounced by our family physician an abnormal growth. He said he could not do anything more for me until this growth was removed by a surgical operation. I had also bowel and spinal affections, and severe headache for days in succession. All these ills have disappeared, and I praise God continually.
