I have been benefited in many ways by Christian Science, and I feel that I should like to add my testimony to the long list of those who have been healed through the understanding of the truth as revealed to this age in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. From childhood, up to the time I heard of this truth, I suffered with catarrhal trouble, my head, throat, and stomach being badly affected. The suffering from the stomach was almost constant and very severe. I took cold easily, and my hearing was affected until it was almost impossible for me to hear an ordinary conversation. I consulted with the best eye and ear specialist at Ann Arbor, Mich., also a noted specialist for these troubles at Detroit, Mich., but they gave me practically no encouragement in regard to my hearing. The Detroit physician told me that in his opinion I would grow worse gradually and in time might lose my hearing entirely, and this seemed to be the case until Christian Science came to my relief.

I began the study of Christian Science in this condition, and through reading and studying faithfully the text-book I have been entirely healed of the stomach trouble, and the other catarrhal troubles have also disappeared. My hearing has so improved that at the present time I scarcely ever think of it. While materia medica claimed that I would gradually grow worse, the truth in Christian Science has made void that claim and I am constantly improving. I have almost no trouble now in understanding conversation and I also experience no difficulty in talking over the telephone. I am a teacher in the public schools here, and have no trouble in understanding my pupils in the class-room. Besides the physical healing, I have every other reason to be very thankful for the wonderful truths taught in Christian Science. What greater blessing could come to us than to learn that God is good, and that good is the only power. That all sickness and disease are being healed, and that sin is being destroyed in human consciousness through the understanding and application of the truth as taught in Christian Science, is daily being proved by the ever-increasing numbers who are seeking and finding the only real remedy for all these ills.
