The death of Mrs. Mary Baker Eddy has removed from life perhaps the most unique woman character known to history. This much may be truthfully said, and there are none who are familiar with the church she founded who will question this, whether her doctrines appeal to them or not. The fact stands out clearly that her teachings have taken hold in a most remarkable way on the lives of many thousands of people, and these people are among the very best of the country.
