I wish to express my gratitude to Christian Science for what it has done for me. Through the reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, was permanently cured of the tobacco habit (chewing and smoking) of about twenty years' standing, also of the drinking habit, to which I had been a victim for the last fifteen years. I was at this time in the United States and very ill. My brother sent me a copy of the text-book, and besides the help mentioned its study has also greatly benefited me mentally and physically. All honor to its beloved Discoverer, the first among women to found a religion.
