I was healed of lung disease over ten years ago; that is, I found the truth, and it healed me. I was at first spiritually benefited. I received this help suddenly; then my physical condition yielded and I was healed permanently through Truth. I have not taken a drop of medicine for over ten years.

I have not words to express the gratitude I feel, but I must say a word in favor of Christian Science, though I cannot tell the half that I have received through the understanding of Truth gleaned from study of the Bible and the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," also Mrs. Eddy's other writings. After ten years' study of Christian Science I feel I have just begun; it is dearer to me today than ever before. These are the words that turned me to Christian Science: "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." These words of the Master carried me through sorrow and trial. I knew I could not make any mistake in following his voice, no matter how hard the condition might seem, and I still stand listening for the word which turned me from fear to truth. I am deeply grateful to Christ Jesus, through whose blessed words and works I have learned what God is, where God is, and that I am nothing without Him; and I am thankful to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for bringing to us this healing truth.—Mary E.
