Prof. Hermann S. Hering lectured here on Christian Science Sunday afternoon, Feb. 20, in the Empire Theater. He was introduced by Ralph W. Eversole, First Reader of the local church, who spoke in part as follows:—

The healing work that Christian Science is accomplishing is in direct confirmation of Jesus' words, when he said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also." Christian Science gives us the correct understanding of God and of man's relation to God, and this is the truth that makes free. Jesus' words and works do not belong to a dispensation now ended. They are for all people and for all time.—Correspondence.
