There is no element of suggestion or human mind force in Christian Science. Its practice is reliance upon the one infinite God, divine Mind, and is beneficial whenever and wherever applied. Animals respond to loving thoughts and actions, and it should not seem strange, even to those unacquainted with Christian Science, that those who have found it a good remedy for their family should also find it good for their animals. Christian Science emphasizes the thought of kindness to dumb brutes, and Christian Scientists have found that they are able to relieve the suffering of animals quite as readily as that of human beings.

This Science teaches that God's spiritual creation is complete and perfect, and includes all created things. The law of the one infinite creator, divine Mind, is certainly applicable to all His creation. It is not logical or reasonable to suppose that a part of God's creatures should be benefited by His infinite law and not the whole.
