AMONG THE CHURCHES

The Christian Science Society of Telluride having lifted the debt on its new church edifice, the building was formally dedicated last night [Sept. 11]. Mrs. James, in her paper upon the history of the Christian Science organization in Telluride, said in part,—

On Oct. 9, 1906, the Christian Scientists living in Telluride gathered in a private residence for the purpose of reading the Lesson-Sermons. Early in 1907 a dwelling-house on North Pine street was purchased. This was remodeled and on March 24, 1907, they moved into their new church home. At this time they organized as the Christian Science Society of Telluride, Colorado. In May, 1910, an addition was built, and as the church is now free of debt we have invited you here tonight to help us with your presence dedicate our church home.—Journal.
