It was not for the purpose of receiving the physical healing that I decided to investigate the subject of Christian Science, for from early childhood I had been well and strong. The help some of my friends and acquaintances gained through the understanding of this wonderful truth, as given to us in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, came to my notice, compelled attention, and thus led to investigation. I have enjoyed the study, and am very much helped by reading the articles in the Sentinel and Journal. In the study of this Science the Scriptures are magnified, and the truths therein are made applicable to all the problems of daily life, however difficult or exacting they may seem to be.
My gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, the worthy Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, for her loving work in behalf of suffering humanity, is greater than I can express.
W. L. Rowland, Toledo, O.
