I have been interested in Christian Science for about...
I have been interested in Christian Science for about three years, and have received so much good that I rejoice to tell it, with the hope that it may benefit some one else who may be seeking the truth. During my first experience of Christian Science I was like most other thoughtless people, I did not have much faith in it, for I knew very little about it. I had a good deal of trouble with my eyes, and as the doctors had said that I would always have to wear glasses, I finally decided to try Christian Science. I immediately consulted a practitioner and began to study Science and Health, and in a short time my eyes were completely cured and my glasses were thrown away. My eyes are now stronger than ever before.
I also wish to mention another instance of a demonstration with our little boy. In some way he had driven a shingle nail, the full length of it, into his heel. To mortal sense it seemed very painful, but as soon as I saw what had happened I called my husband, and simply told him the facts in the case. We both declared the truth, and the bad effects were immediately overcome. There was no inflammation at all.
Words cannot express how grateful I feel toward our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for bringing us this practical truth which heals the sick.
