In the fall of 1898 I had a very severe attack of illness, and suffered beyond expression, although I used all material means possible. The difficulty was in my lower limbs, and I received no benefit from any of the appliances used. I was in deep despair, when the thought came to me to try Christian Science. I had read a few pamphlets, which appealed to me at once; indeed I was very deeply impressed, so I wrote to a practitioner one hundred and fifty miles away. At night I removed some plasters which I had been using, feeling that I would have no more use for them. I went to bed and slept all night, the first time in four weeks. I was healed, and have not had an attack of the trouble since. I received a few treatments after that, all absent.
I am very glad to tell of the healing power of Christian Science, and I do this with a deep feeling of gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for having given us in Science and Health the truth that makes free.
Mrs. Adele Magee, Altamont, N. Y.
