I want to tell others what Christian Science has done for me. Christian Science has helped me in my school work, and to get along agreeably with my schoolmates. A little experience I had on the Fourth of July showed me the error of disobedience. My uncle gave me a blank pistol and a box of cartridges. After I had used up all the cartridges my mother said I had had enough and told me not to shoot any more; but I went up the street to where a boy had one, and he told me to shoot it. I yielded to the temptation, and injured my hand. I at once washed the blood away, but it gave me some pain. The boys tried to frighten me by saying I would have blood-poisoning, but I went at once to my mother and told her all about it, and with Christian Science treatment my fear was destroyed, the pain and swelling stopped, and the next morning my hand was well. One of the boys who saw this demonstration asked me to treat him for a cut on his head, which I did, and it was quickly healed. I am so grateful for Christian Science, for it helps me in all ways.
