AMONG THE CHURCHES

We are getting along quite nicely with the Science work. We have a neat log church and residence, and quite a large tract of ground; all improved and paid for. Our congregations range from forty to fifty on Sunday, and we feel that the Cause is advancing.—Correspondence.

At the annual meeting of First Church of Christ, Scientist, held at the church last evening [Jan. 7], the following officers were elected: First Reader, Charles B. Jamieson, C.S.B.; Second Reader, Mary D. Rice; trustees, elected for three years, Prof. Hermann S. Hering, Paul R. Holden, and Almira E. Critchett. The annual reports showed the church to be in a sound and growing condition. A number of new applicants were elected to membership. The treasurer's report shows all bills paid and a substantial balance on hand.—Concord Monitor.
