Words can never express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science; I know it is the truth that makes us free. When I came into this truth I was a great sufferer from bowel trouble, and had spent nearly sixteen years of my life traveling about in search of health. I had been unable to eat solid food during this time, without suffering greatly. As materia medica failed to give me relief, and it seemed that I could not live much longer, I decided to try Christian Science. After the first treatment I ate heartily, and without any bad effects. I was healed of the bowel disorder at once, I am sure, but I seemed so filled with fear that I continued to take treatment for several weeks.
Christian Science has not only made me well, but has given me a better understanding of God, and of man's relation to Him, and with the psalmist I can exclaim, "Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered."—Flora R. Brown, Indianapolis, Ind.
