I wish to testify to what Christian Science has done for me
I wish to testify to what Christian Science has done for me. Two years ago I was living at Port Arthur, Ont., and one day at dinner I was attacked by terrible pain. My father ran for a doctor, as we were strangers in the place and did not know of any Christian Scientists being there. When the doctor came he said I was too ill to be operated upon and thought that there was no hope for me. We all wanted to have Christian Science treatment, so my father telegraphed to a practitioner in London, and it was not long until I began to improve. I was taken sick on Thursday noon, and was so low Friday and Saturday that I knew nothing of what was going on around me, but on the following Tuesday my father took me downstairs. I was then well, though somewhat weak, but I was strong again in a very short time. I have had no trouble since. Thanks to dear Mrs. Eddy for the understanding of Truth that can heal although one is many miles from the practitioner.—Lorne Joyce, Renfrew, Ont.
