Omaha (Neb.) World-Herald

The "Comforter," as defined by Jesus, is not a person, but the "Spirit of truth," verifying the Master's teaching by repeating his works. So far as understood, Christian Science has proved in the experience of many to be the promised Comforter. Inability to demonstrate this Science denotes a misapprehension of its Principle and rules, but does not prove the teaching to be false.
