Christian Scientists plant themselves unreservedly on...

Christian Scientists plant themselves unreservedly on the declaration of Jesus that "the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth," and the definition of God as above given is spiritual. Further than this, throughout the text-book, Science and Health, are constant admonitions to Christian Scientists to be known by their works rather than their words, and that the responsibility of each one begins with himself, in knowing that he thinks right, acts right, and follows all the commands of Jesus, including those to heal the sick and love our neighbors.

So long as the world can see that in the doing of this we are enabled to live cleaner, better, happier, freer, and more loving lives, we can easily forego the temptation to quote texts or indulge in discussions that are fruitless.
