I was brought into Christian Science by being healed of what the doctor called severe rheumatic trouble. A Christian Science practitioner was sent for, and I was healed in one treatment. In three hours after she came to my bedside I had taken off the bandage of cotton from my arm and shoulder; then I got up, dressed myself, and went to dinner. I was also quickly healed of catarrhal trouble. Last winter I was healed of a bilious attack and other troubles. I bought a copy of Science and Health and began to study its pages, and to my great relief I found myself healed of many troubles, including fear. I have also learned to overcome many things in my family. A case of chills, which my little boy had, was overcome at once. This was three years ago, and he has not had an attack since. I feel that I have been greatly helped by coming into Christian Science,—I have experienced that "peace of God, which passeth all understanding." I am very thankful for having been led into the truth,—thankful to God, and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for Christian Science.
