I desire to offer my heartfelt gratitude for the blessings of Christian Science. It is about two years since I first heard of it, and after an attack of illness a friend gave me some Sentinels and a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy to read, as she found me in a very depressed state and suffering from great weakness of the heart, so much so that I was afraid to walk about or go to bed at night. Long before I was half through the reading of Science and Health, the spiritual understanding of it healing me, not only physically but mentally, entirely overcoming a great sense of loneliness and depression from which I had long suffered. It gave me an understanding of divine Love, the allness of God, opened out to me a knowledge of the perfection of man as God's image and likeness, and taught me how to love my neighbor as myself. I have had many demonstrations of the ever-presence and all-power of Christ, Truth. My desire and aim is to realize the fulfilment of the promise. "Seek ye first the kingdom of God. and his righteousness;" I have proved that as we press toward that mark, all things are indeed added unto us.

I am most thankful to God, and deeply grateful to our beloved Leader, who was good enough and pure enough to receive this understanding of Truth and to give it to a waiting world.
