On Dec. 25, 1907, our little daughter complained of not feeling well, and by morning we had a well-developed case of sore throat accompanied by very high fever. Her aunt examined her throat and pronounced it serious, and a great deal of fear for the recovery of the little one was manifested, so I did not know what to do. The child called me to her and said she did not want to take any medicine, but wanted a Christian Science practitioner. A practitioner was engaged, and in a short time we could see that the child was better. She continued to improve during the day, and by night the symptoms were less severe. Friday morning she was able to be up and dressed, and Sunday morning all indications of the trouble were gone and she attended Sunday School. Her grandmother and aunts watched the case and thought the healing wonderful, and the truth thus manifested has been a great help to them as well as to us. We are indeed grateful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy for Christian Science, which has brought us to realize this healing truth that makes free from sickness as well as sin.
