Christian Science is the greatest discovery yet made for...
Bellingham (Wash.) Morning Reveille
Christian Science is the greatest discovery yet made for the amelioration of the ills women thinks they are afflicted with, and the man blessed with a wife who believes in that faith should thank his lucky stars. Incidentally he might quietly credit his bank account with a considerable sum that would otherwise have gone for medical treatment. The fact that the Christian Scientists are prohibited from gossiping or speaking evil of their neighbors; from quarreling with their husbands or other persons; that they are enjoined to keep themselves neatly dressed at all times, are things that should also be taken into consideration. Mrs. Eddy is wise, and if certain of her teachings gained universal practice this world would be a much better place in which to live.
As the crest of the ocean gleaming
Merges into the blue,
So the crown of the human seeming
Touches the hem of the true.
