I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. As a child I suffered a great deal with headaches, which were believed to be caused by my eyes. At different times three eye specialists were consulted, all of whom told me that the constant wearing of glasses was my only hope of relief from the headaches. Glasses were fitted and were worn for five years, but the headaches continued until I investigated Christian Science, and then I was healed. Over two years ago the thought came to me that I should treat myself, and through my own understanding of the truth, gained from the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I was enabled to take off my glasses and have suffered no inconvenience therefrom. For this, and many other cases of healing, I am truly thankful. I am grateful to Christ Jesus, who has shown us the way, and to our loving, unselfish Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who is again giving to the world this practical, Christlike religion.
