I desire to express my heartfel gratitude for a clearer understanding, which has come through the study of Christian Science, of the beautiful truth which makes us free from the many anxieties, sorrows, and diseases that result from dependence upon self and materiality. Last summer I had my usual attack of hay fever, from which I had suffered many successive summers, and it brought on a return of a very serious eye trouble. During the last year I had become interested in Christian Science; we had been studying it in our home, and through the study had learned to know that Truth and Love alone can bring perfect relief and peace; so with the return of this disease we asked the help of a Christian Science practitioner. In a few treatments I was entirely healed; relieved not only of this ailment, but also of the thought of heredity. With this healing there came a more vivid realization of the omnipotence and omnipresence of God, which has brought many blessings into our home life, also into my husband's business life.

For these many blessings, and for the sweet knowledge of this healing truth, I most humbly and gratefully give thanks. I can say with the psalmist, "For with thee is the fountain of life; in thy light shall we see light." For this truth I praise God and am deeply grateful to out beloved Leader.
