I wish to express my thankfulness for what Christian Science...
I wish to express my thankfulness for what Christian Science has done for my twelve-year-old daughter. In September of last year she was taken with a bowel trouble, which in two weeks developed into a dreaded fever. For a few months previous to this I had been studying Christian Science, so at first I tried to treat her myself, but it finally seemed advisable to call on a practitioner for help. As we were away from home at the time, the practitioner thought it better to take my daughter to her own house, which was done on a Tuesday morning. The child was unable to eat, and when not in a stupor was delirious most of the time until Saturday morning; but about noon of that day she called for the Christian Science Hymnal, and sang a few hymns. By Sunday night the fever had entirely left her; Monday she was dressed, and Wednesday we went home. We had been at home only a week when she seemed as strong as ever, although the practitioner had treated her but fourteen days in all.
Christian Science has brought us help and comfort, and has taught us that God is able to heal us at any and all times if we but trust Him fully and freely; and that He is no respecter of persons.
Mrs. Fannie Olive Deintz, Waterbury, Conn.
