The numberless blessings which have come to me through...

The numberless blessings which have come to me through Christian Science make me wish to share my joy with others, and to express my gratitude for this truth, the light of which has banished the gloom of ignorance, doubt, and fear. It is truly the "peace of God, which passeth all understanding," that comes to us when we learn to trust God to supply our every need; when we come to know that He is "not a God afar off," but is ever present and available at any time and under every circumstance. Through the healing power of Christian Science I have been relieved of a number of physical troubles,—colds, frequent attacks of throat trouble, etc.,—which, though they were not considered serious, caused me much discomfort and many interruptions in my work. I have also been enabled to leave off my glasses, which I had worn for ten years. No particular thought was given to discarding them; I simply felt that I no longer needed them, just as one would drop a heavy burden when it was no longer necessary to carry it.

The one thing for which I am most thankful to Christian Science is that I am learning to love my neighbor, to love him because I know that man is God's perfect child; and in proportion as I strive to see this truth I gain a clearer realization that God is Love, and that "Love is reflected in love" (Science and Health, p. 17).
