[Written for the Sentinel.]

IDEALITY

When harmony rules with unchallenged might, Then merges perfect day in peaceful night Wherein there is no bitterness, no fear Or sorrow that shall start the stinging tear. No vain regrets for happier hours now gone, But glad anticipation of the dawn Which heralds yet another Love-crowned day Ere time's brief concepts pass away.
