I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science...
I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me. A little over a year ago I was in a hospital, where I underwent two operations for abdominal trouble. I did not fully recover, and the latter part of the year found me in a very miserable condition. About the first of this year, a lady who had heard that they were talking of taking me to the hospital again, called to see me and asked me why I did not try Christian Science. On explaining that I knew nothing about it, she stayed and talked with me and left me some literature to read. I secured a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and with the help of a practitioner in a month I was entirely healed of three different diseases, also of a rupture, which was healed in the remarkably short time of three days.
Since that time, a woman who works for me fell on the ice, injuring herself severely. For four days she suffered intense pain and could not sleep. I spoke to her about Christian Science, and she had the same practitioner to help her that I did. She received immediate relief, so that she did not miss another day from her work, and slept like a baby at night. She has also been helped of rheumatic trouble, from which she had suffered for years. I am very grateful for these demonstrations of the power of divine Love, and thankful to Mrs. Eddy, who has shown us the way.—Mrs. Florence Young, Toledo, O.
