I have long felt a desire to express my gratitude for and my appreciation of Christian Science. Two years ago I suffered most terribly with blood-poisoning. Physicians attended me without any benefit, the last one saying there was no hope at all for me, that neither he nor any other doctor could help me. My hand had been terribly injured, and the physician said I must have it amputated in order to save my life, but I would not let this be done. I then turned to Christian Science for help, knowing it was all there was left that might cure me. At the first treatment all pain left me. I had only four treatments and was healed. I had been wearing a rubber supporter on my knee for two years, but I removed it as soon as I began to have treatment for my hand. I am now in the best of health, and have the full use of my hand.
I can never be thankful enough to God for what Christian Science has done for me. It has made me a better woman, physically, morally, and spiritually.
Mrs. Annie Holden, Abilene, Kan.
