LETTERS TO OUR LEADER

Boston, Mass., July 23, 1907.

Mrs. Mary Baker G. Eddy,

Reverend and Beloved Mrs. Eddy:—In these recent years I have more than once had the priviliege in Florence, Italy, and other cities in Europe where societies of Christian Science exist, to tell your affectionate and grateful followers something of your personal life and work as I know of it from your home city,—and these occasions have always been sweet to me. The devotion and appreciation felt for you by your church society in Florence is especially beautiful, so I am venturing to tell you, and to beg you receive my own devotion and love.
