To encourage those who may be suffering I desire to give my testimony. When I was eleven years old I had a fever which left me with weak lungs, and for six years prior to seeking Christian Science this weakness caused me a great amount of suffering. One physician pronounced my condition as very serious. I continued to grow worse and another physician informed my husband that I could live but a few weeks. An attorney was called to our home to write my will. He was interested in Christian Science and mentioned the subject to me, suggesting that we give it a trial, and with my consent he arranged with a practitioner to come to our home and give me treatment. This was in May, 1900, and in less than a week I walked one and a half miles to church, and within a few weeks I was perfectly healed. I enjoy good health and to-day my lungs are sound and well. Christian Science has met every condition of illness that has come up with me during the past six years. I desire to mention the healing of my daughter from a severe form of nervous trouble, she being unable to guide her hand to her mouth or direct her steps. Christian Science also healed her of rheumatic trouble in one week. She was about ten years of age when this occurred. She is perfectly healed of both troubles and is enjoying excellent health.
My gratitude to God for Christian Science is very great. It not only has brought healing, but comfort and peace never before experienced. Christian Science has planted my feet more firmly upon the Rock, Christ, and I would be ungrateful did I not express loving thanks to Mrs. Eddy for having lived such a pure, good life as made it possible for God to reveal this truth to her, and that she in turn gave it to mankind.
Mrs. Anna Kraus, Dayton, O.
