Since childhood I had suffered from disordered...
Since childhood I had suffered from disordered stomach, having to abstain from various kinds of food, but suffering more and more. In 1883 a rigid diet was adopted, and continued until 1904, at which time I was led to Christian Science. The accompanying ailments of deranged heart action, and bowel trouble in an aggravated form, besides several other ailments,—all these have been proven to be but a dream of mortal mind. Now, after nearly three years knowledge of the truth taught in Christian Science, I find its transforming and healing power and its illuminating influence are beyond the power language to express. This transforming influence has led me on toward Truth, which is setting me free from mortal discord. While there is much to be overcome, yet the strengthening sense of the perfect law of Love has ever proven a "rock of defense," filling me with grateful praise to our God, and with love and admiration for dear Mrs. Eddy. I can have no higher aspiration than to strive to know more and more of this saving truth.
Mrs. Emma A. Sherman, Leon, Wis.
