I take great pleasure in adding my testimony to those of others who have found great benefit through Christian Science. I began investigating it four years ago. when I had been a sufferer for many years from various kinds of ills, and had depended wholly on medicine. I then decided to call on a Christian Science practitioner, and immediately placed myself under treatment. Her kind words and gentle guidance were like a ray of hope to brighten my path. There seemed to be a little doubt as to the sufficiency of my own understanding, but through the reading of the literature the light of Truth soon dawned upon my consciousness. and I realized for the first time the spiritual uplifting for which I had been seeking for many years. I have had many proofs of Truth's power over all error, showing me that God is a very present help in time of trouble.

Words fail to express my gratitude to God, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this blessed truth, and my constant endeavor shall be to "rise in the strength of Spirit to resist all that is unlike God" (Science and Health, p. 393), so that I may be able to life the burden of fear from those about me.—Ida L.
