Early in the spring of 1906 my little girl was taken very suddenly with severe nervous trouble. For about three weeks she was totally blind and did not try to open her eyes or even to raise the lids. For as many months her knee-joints were greatly enlarged and there was also serious kidney trouble. She had Christian Science treatment and suffered very little, being patient and sweet during it all, and was perfectly healed in seven months. Another case was that of a relative whose illness was caused by strong drink. The patient had eight weeks' treatment from one of the best doctors in the town, who then said there was nothing more that could be done, and that the patient could not live more than a few days. I asked the same practitioner to take the case, and she did, with the result that in three weeks' time every trace of the disease was removed. I thank God for Mrs. Eddy and for Christian Science.
